Portable Freezer & Refrigeration Trailer Rentals in Paradise
KryoFridge drops walk-in freezer and refrigeration trailers anywhere in Paradise, from the Strip resort kitchens to the Las Vegas Convention Center loading docks. Same-day delivery, 24/7 dispatch, and a 0% spoilage record on the busiest hospitality corridor in the country.
The convention-corridor's first call for portable refrigeration
Paradise is where the Strip actually sits, and it runs on cold storage that never blinks. KryoFridge is the refrigeration and freezer arm of a rental family with more than 20 years in the event business, and we operate one of the largest dual-purpose trailer fleets in the West. Every trailer runs as a cooler or a deep freezer off one digital thermostat, so a banquet kitchen at Mandalay Bay and a grocery back room off Tropicana get the exact same reliable box. We own our fleet and answer our own phones. You deal with the operator, not a broker, and that matters when a walk-in fails at 6 p.m. during a sold-out convention.
Already in town, not two counties away
Our trailers sit staged around Paradise, fueled, pre-cooled, and maintained in-house, parked and waiting for the call rather than being sourced after it. That is why an emergency call usually puts a unit on your lot and pulling temperature in about 45 minutes.
The direct operator, never a broker
The voice on the phone belongs to the same outfit that owns the trailer and sends the driver. No reseller in the middle quietly marking up somebody else's equipment while your inventory creeps past 40°F on the shelf.
The largest dual-purpose fleet in the West
Every unit is ours to own, service, and deliver, and each one swings between deep-freeze and fresh-cold on a precise digital set-point. So we can size the answer to your Paradise job and turn it around the same day rather than putting you on next week's list.
We know the Strip's loading docks. Placing a trailer in Paradise is not like dropping one in a suburban lot. Resort docks, arena service roads, and Convention Center bays have tight clearances, union load-in windows, and security. We have staged trailers across the corridor for years, so we know how to spot a unit at a Mandalay Bay receiving dock or an Allegiant Stadium event lot without blocking the next truck. That local know-how is why caterers and venue managers keep our number saved.
The Cold-Storage Name America's Biggest Brands Keep on Speed Dial
National chains do not gamble on refrigeration. A drifting set-point during dinner rush can cost a brand a day of sales and a health-code headache, so the chains that scale fast vet a cold-storage partner the same careful way they vet a protein supplier. KryoFridge has held temperature for names like McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, and Dutch Bros, and earned the repeat call.

The stories behind that trust are the kind every restaurant owner recognizes. One Friday at 6:30 in the evening, a Chick-fil-A called in with a dead walk-in and a drive-through line already wrapped around the building. We prepped a trailer, dispatched it, and had it on their pad pulling temperature 34 minutes after the phone rang. The manager's first words when the driver pulled in were, "I cannot believe you are already here." That is the bar we hold ourselves to. Another year, an overnight outage shorted a cooler on the morning of a holiday rush, and our team staged three freezer trailers to hold every pie, every protein, and every prep tray so the kitchen served the rush without missing a ticket. The reason we hear some version of that line so often is the same every time: the equipment was already nearby, already cold, and owned by the people who answered the phone. That same standard travels to every Paradise job, from a one-cook taqueria to a distribution floor.
Portable refrigeration for the Las Vegas Convention Center corridor
For Paradise that flexibility is the whole game. One week a trailer holds banquet proteins at 34 degrees behind a Strip resort, the next it drops to 10 below to buffer a frozen dessert program for a convention hall, all from the same GOVI ARKTIK 2000US unit.
The Las Vegas Convention Center moves millions of attendees a year across more than 4.6 million square feet, and events like CES and World of Concrete flood the halls with catering that no permanent kitchen was sized to hold. When a show floor needs to feed 100,000 people, the caterer's cold storage runs out fast. We stage freezer and refrigeration trailers right at the dock doors so prepped food, proteins, and beverages stay in spec from load-in to tear-down.
The convention corridor along Paradise Road and Convention Center Drive fills up months ahead, so caterers and general contractors book our trailers into their production calendars early. A 6x16 trailer with a 54-inch pallet door lets a catering crew roll full sheet pans and pallets straight in without breaking down loads, which saves hours on a tight setup window.
| Spec | What you get |
|---|---|
| Temperature range | Roughly -10°F deep-freeze up to about 50°F fresh-cold |
| Mode | Dual-purpose: freezer or refrigerator on one precise digital set-point |
| Power | A dedicated 120V, 20-amp circuit within about 100 feet, or a generator we supply |
| Food safety | NSF-approved for direct food contact, food-safe surfaces, proper drainage |
| Footprints | 6x8, 6x12, and 6x16, from a tight retail lot to distribution scale |
| Backing | Owned in-house, fully licensed and insured, with 24/7 emergency dispatch |
Each unit holds a precise digital set-point and runs on a dedicated 120V/20A circuit or a generator. The trailers are not wired for 208 to 240V building service, so we confirm your hookup before the truck rolls.
Off-site convention work is just as common. Product-launch dinners at Resorts World, sponsor activations near the Westgate, and hospitality tents in the surface lots all need cold storage where there is no kitchen at all. We drop a trailer, wire it to a dedicated 120V circuit or run it off a generator we provide, and the caterer has a walk-in that was not there yesterday.
For multi-day shows, one trailer often is not enough. We have staged banks of trailers side by side so a single event has separate freezer and cooler capacity, keeping frozen desserts and fresh produce in their own boxes. When the show ends we pull the units the same day so the dock is clear for the next load-in.
Portable refrigeration for every corner of the corridor
No other zip code in Nevada throws this much food service into a few square miles. The Strip resorts, Harry Reid International, the convention halls, and the arenas all lean on temporary cold storage when their built-in capacity runs out or breaks down. Here is where our trailers earn their keep in Paradise.

🍽 Convention caterers
Show-floor and off-site catering crews feeding tens of thousands at the Convention Center, Resorts World, and Strip ballrooms. We add cooler and freezer capacity right at the dock so nothing goes out of spec during a multi-day show.

🛒 Resort banquet kitchens
Strip properties running fight weekends, galas, and holiday buffets that outgrow their built-in walk-ins. A trailer buys them overflow cold storage without touching the building.

📦 Airport and concessionaires
Food-service operators around Harry Reid International handle relentless volume with no room to expand. A trailer holds backup inventory when a cooler goes down mid-shift.

🎪 Grocery and specialty markets
Stores along Tropicana, Flamingo, and Maryland Parkway lean on us when a compressor fails or a holiday order overwhelms the back room. We hold frozen and fresh product until they are caught up.

🚨 Film, TV and production
Commercial shoots and touring productions staging near the Strip need craft-service and catering cold storage on location. We deliver a walk-in to a lot with no kitchen in sight.

🏭 Emergency and disaster response
When a summer outage or a monsoon storm knocks out power to a kitchen or a market, we roll the same day. Generator power option means the trailer runs even when the block is dark.
What ties these together is the clock. Nobody budgets a freezer trailer into next quarter. They reach for one the hour a compressor quits, or the evening before a party when the stack of rented ice chests suddenly looks laughably undersized. Since our units sit staged around Paradise instead of a couple counties down the freeway, "can I get it today" is an ordinary ask here, not a stretch.

What a Cold-Storage Failure Actually Costs a Paradise Operation
Add it up the way a Paradise owner has to. One restaurant walk-in routinely sits on a small fortune in proteins, dairy, and prepped product. Scale that to a grocery rack or a warehouse freezer bay and the exposure balloons. Now knock the power or the compressor out on a triple-digit afternoon, and that whole inventory is in jeopardy inside a few hours. Then stack on the sales you lose while the line sits dark and the wages you burn paying staff to triage what can still be saved.
Hold a pre-staged trailer up against that risk and it reads like cheap insurance, a fixed, predictable expense parked in front of a loss with no ceiling. That is exactly why the businesses that got stung once tape our number by the phone. There is never a second scramble, because the next time they dial before the product has a chance to warm. Owning every trailer ourselves means we can scale the answer to fit. A single compact box suits a corner cafe. A clustered setup covers a warehouse floor. Either turns around the same day.
Desert heat that punishes portable refrigeration
Paradise sits in the open Mojave, and summer highs routinely run from 105 to 115 degrees from June into September. That heat is brutal on cold storage. Every time a resort dock door opens, the box fights to pull the load back down, and an undersized or worn walk-in simply cannot keep up on a 110-degree afternoon. Our trailers are built for exactly this, with 4-inch insulated fiberglass and commercial ARKTIK and Kingtec systems sized to hold temperature in the worst of it.
The monsoon season from July into September brings sudden storms and flash flooding that hammer the local grid. NV Energy runs at peak strain during those weeks, and heat-driven outages hit the valley most summers. When a Strip-adjacent kitchen or a neighborhood market loses power, the food starts warming within the hour, and a call to our 24/7 line puts a generator-powered trailer on the way before the loss turns into a total write-off.
Even outside summer, the swing matters. Paradise can hit the 60s in the day and drop cold overnight in winter, and event calendars never stop. The same trailer that buffered a July pool-club surge holds banquet proteins through a December convention. Year-round, the desert is the reason temporary refrigeration is not optional here, it is insurance.
Portable refrigeration behind the Strip's biggest kitchens
A Strip megaresort can serve tens of thousands of covers in a single day across buffets, banquet halls, and a dozen restaurants. Their built-in walk-ins are sized for a normal week, not for a boxing weekend at T-Mobile Arena or a fight-night banquet at the MGM Grand. When banquet volume spikes, the back-of-house runs out of cold real estate, and that is where a KryoFridge trailer buys them room without a construction project.
Banquet chefs use our trailers as overflow proteins and produce storage during peak weekends, staging carts of prepped ingredients in a cooler parked at the receiving dock. Because the trailer is dual-purpose, the same box can flip to freezer duty for a gala with a plated ice-cream course, then back to refrigeration for the next event.
Kitchen remodels are constant on the Strip. Resorts refresh restaurants and banquet kitchens on rolling schedules, and when a walk-in is torn out the food still has to live somewhere. We have held a full banquet inventory in a trailer for weeks while a resort rebuilt its cold room, so the property kept booking events through the whole job.
Reliability is not optional here. Our trailers carry a 0% spoilage record and run on the ARKTIK 2000US and Kingtec systems, with 4-inch insulated single-shell fiberglass walls that hold temperature even when it is 110 outside on the loading dock. A keg-duty floor means the crew can wheel in heavy carts and kegs all day without babying the box.
Portable refrigeration for Allegiant Stadium and the arena district
Allegiant Stadium sits in Paradise just west of the Strip, and a Raiders game day or a stadium concert puts a full-scale food operation on a clock. Concession stands, club levels, and premium suites all pull from central commissary storage, and when demand outpaces the built-in coolers, extra cold storage has to arrive on a truck. We stage trailers in the event lots so beverages, proteins, and frozen product stay in spec through a sellout crowd.
The arena cluster around the Strip runs the same way. T-Mobile Arena, the Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay, and the Thomas & Mack Center at UNLV all host back-to-back events, from Golden Knights games and UFC cards to graduations and conventions. A concert one night and a family show the next leaves no time to build permanent capacity, so a rented refrigeration trailer covers the surge and rolls away when the run ends.
Pool season is its own beast. The Strip's dayclubs and pool clubs move enormous volumes of packaged beverages and garnish from spring into fall, and their bars burn through cold storage faster than the back-of-house can restock. A freezer trailer parked in the service area keeps thousands of cases cold through a 110-degree afternoon so the bars never run warm.
Every one of these venues shares the same failure mode: a walk-in or a reach-in dies on the busiest possible day. Our 24/7 dispatch exists for exactly that. We keep trailers ready across the valley and can have a unit rolling toward a Paradise venue within the hour, wired and holding temperature before the doors open.
Setting the Right Temperature for What You're Holding
"Cold" is not one number. Different product stays safe inside different temperature windows, which is the entire reason a precise digital set-point matters, and in the middle of a Paradise heat wave, a load that slips out of its window is a load you write off. Use the chart below as the reference our customers lean on when they size a rental.
| Product | Target holding band | Trailer mode |
|---|---|---|
| Ice cream and frozen desserts | -10°F to 0°F | Deep freeze |
| Frozen proteins, seafood, prepared meals | 0°F or below | Freezer |
| Fresh meat and poultry (short hold) | 28°F to 32°F | Refrigerated |
| Dairy, deli, packaged produce | 34°F to 38°F | Refrigerated |
| Beverages, florals, catering trays | 38°F to 45°F | Refrigerated |
One figure outranks everything in that chart, and it is not listed there: 40°F. Food-safety guidance treats the band between 40°F and 140°F as the zone where bacteria thrive, and the clock on perishable product starts ticking the moment it crosses 40 on the way up. Roughly four cumulative hours above that line and most refrigerated inventory is no longer safe to serve. Picture that countdown running on a 100-degree afternoon in Paradise with the walk-in dark, and the urgency of a quick trailer drop stops being abstract.
Tell us the single coldest item you are holding when you call, and we dial the trailer to that. One unit carries a straight freezer load with no fuss. But when your list mixes deep-freeze desserts with fresh-cold produce for the same remodel or event, we will usually point you toward a split setup or a second box so neither side of the load has to settle for the wrong temperature.
Power and Placement on a Paradise Site
Powering one of our trailers is refreshingly simple, and there are precisely two ways to do it. Either you have a dedicated 120-volt, 20-amp circuit reachable within roughly 100 feet of the parking spot, or we bring a generator. What the units will not accept is standard 208 to 240V building service, so a quick question about your outlet before dispatch heads off any surprise on delivery day.
- Dedicated outlet on hand? Most Paradise kitchens and markets already have the right one, so we plug straight in and the unit begins pulling the temperature down.
- Open lot or event field? A generator keeps the trailer running anywhere, whether that is an event lawn or a warehouse yard.
- Worried about a shutoff? A unit on a generator keeps your cold chain alive when a fire-season power shutoff takes the surrounding grid down.
On placement, all the unit really asks for is a fairly flat patch with enough room for the delivery truck to maneuver it in and set it straight, plus either a power source in reach or space for a generator. We lock down the exact drop point before dispatch, and our drivers know the Paradise layout cold, so the delivery is one clean trip instead of a guessing game on the property.
From the Field, Real Paradise-Area Saves
Convention caterer, CES week walk-in failure
A catering company feeding a CES sponsor's ballroom at a Strip resort lost a rented walk-in the night before their biggest service. We took the call, prepped a 6x16 trailer, and had it wired at the resort dock before the morning load-in. Zero product lost, and the ballroom served on time.
Strip resort banquet kitchen, fight-weekend surge
A megaresort hosting a championship boxing weekend at its arena ran out of banquet cold storage two days before the fight. We staged two trailers at their receiving dock, one cooler and one freezer, so the banquet team held proteins and plated-dessert product separately. They cleared the weekend with room to spare and zero waste.
Neighborhood market off Tropicana, summer outage
A specialty grocery near Tropicana Avenue lost power during a July heat-driven outage with a freezer aisle full of product. Our dispatch had a generator-powered trailer on-site within the hour and held their frozen inventory until NV Energy restored the block. The store reopened the next morning with nothing written off.
Renting a Freezer Trailer in Paradise, Step by Step
On a bad day, booking should be the part that does not add stress. Four steps, an upfront number, and a single person who owns the whole thing.
1 · Describe the load
Tell us whether it is freezer or fridge product, a ballpark volume, and your rough window. That is enough for us to call the right size.
2 · We finalize size, power & spot
We pair you with a unit, confirm whether you have a dedicated circuit or need a generator, and pin the exact drop point so the truck makes one trip.
3 · Delivery and cold-down
We arrive on your schedule, about 45 minutes for a true emergency, set the trailer, energize it, and let it drive down to your number.
4 · Run it, reach us anytime
It holds the set-point for your entire term while our line stays live the whole way through. Wrap up, and we swing back for the pickup.
What Paradise operators should know before the trailer arrives
Paradise is unincorporated Clark County, not the City of Las Vegas, so permitting and health oversight run through the county and the Southern Nevada Health District rather than a city department. For food-service use, the health district treats mobile cold storage as part of your food operation, so keep your trailer placement consistent with your permitted food-handling plan and be ready to show it during an inspection.
Placement on the Strip corridor almost always means private resort or venue property. Resort docks, arena service roads, and Convention Center bays have their own security, union load-in windows, and clearance limits, so coordinate the drop with the property's receiving or event-services team ahead of time. We help you scope the spot so the trailer fits the bay and does not block the next truck.
Power is simple but firm. Every KryoFridge trailer runs on either a standard 120V, 20-amp dedicated circuit within 100 feet of the unit, or a generator we provide. On a busy Strip dock, an open dedicated circuit is not always available, so plan the generator option early. We confirm the power plan before delivery so the unit is holding temperature the moment it is spotted.
What our trailers bring to a health-code inspection
- NSF-approved interior surfaces built for direct food contact.
- A digital controller that puts the set-point in plain view for the inspector.
- Proper drainage and a sealed, food-safe insulated box.
- Licensed and insured on every unit we put on the road.
One caveat we always state plainly: we supply the food-safe, temperature-holding hardware itself, but we are not a temperature-logging or alarm-monitoring service. If your program requires continuous written records, line that vendor up on your own.
Three Trailer Sizes, and How to Pick Yours
We stock three footprints, and together they stretch from a one-kitchen overflow all the way to distribution and disaster-scale capacity. Each one is dual-purpose by design, a single adjustable system that swings between freezer and refrigerator on a precise digital set-point, and each one lives on either a dedicated circuit or a generator.
| Trailer | Best for | Temp range |
|---|---|---|
| 6x8 | Tight lots, small kitchens, short overflow | -10°F to 50°F |
| 6x12 | Grocers, caterers, mid-size events | Deep-freeze capable |
| 6x16 | Distribution, large events, disaster | Heavy-duty reefer |
Each unit holds a precise digital set-point and runs on a dedicated 120V/20A circuit or a generator.
6x8, the compact pick for tight retail lots
Think eight or so pallet spots, and the unit to grab when square footage is the whole problem. It slips into the pinched service yards and cramped back-of-house corners that a larger box cannot even swing into. One cafe or small-market walk-in goes down, and this is almost always enough cold to cover it, plus the simplest unit to set in a small space.
6x12, the everyday pick for grocers and caterers
Call it fourteen pallet spots, deep-freeze rated, and far and away the size people ask for most. It lands right in the middle: roomy enough for a multi-day catering job or a restaurant that needs true walk-in-equivalent room while the kitchen is torn up. Roomy enough that nobody is playing Tetris with shelves, yet still small enough to set in most commercial back lots without a site survey.
6x16, the heavy hauler for distribution and disaster
Roughly twenty pallet spots paired with a heavy-duty reefer plant engineered to keep deep-freeze locked in even when the ambient air is merciless. Reach for it when a warehouse bay drops, when a large festival needs an anchor, or when a relief operation is carrying its own cold chain.
Not sure which size fits? Tell us roughly what you are storing and for how long, and we will spec it for you rather than nudging you into a bigger unit than the job calls for.
More Paradise Cold-Storage Rental Questions
The questions that surface once the basics are settled. Tap any topic to open it.
Freezer trailer vs. portable walk-in vs. reefer truck. Which should you rent?
The pop-up walk-in cooler. Cheap to rent and easy to set up, but it chills, it does not freeze, and it draws every watt it needs from your building while depending on a calm ambient temperature around it. The second your building loses power, your cooler loses it too.
The refrigerated box truck. Designed to haul product on the interstate, not to sit in a lot and babysit it. Parked, it idles fuel all day, broadcasts compressor noise across a storefront or an event lawn, and pins down a tractor plus a driver you probably do not need.
The freezer trailer we deliver. Built from the ground up to be dropped on a pad and to defend a temperature for as long as the job runs. It freezes deep, carries NSF approval, locks, stays quiet near guests, and lives on nothing more than one dedicated circuit or a generator.
NSF build quality and health-code compliance
Even a rented box has to satisfy the county environmental health office that licenses and inspects every food facility. Show an inspector a unit that cannot document its temperature or was not built for food contact, and they have the authority to halt service immediately.
That is a bar each of our trailers clears: NSF-approved throughout, food-safe interior surfaces, proper drainage, and a digital controller that puts the set-point in plain view. We supply the food-safe, temperature-holding hardware itself, but we are not a temperature-logging or alarm-monitoring service.
Multi-trailer setups for distribution and large operations
For a typical kitchen or market, one box does the job. Distribution floors, big fairs, and full-scale disaster response routinely need more, and because the fleet is ours, we can cluster several units and bring them online in waves as the work expands. Match the cold capacity to the operation rather than make the operation squeeze itself into one box.
Short-term emergency vs. long-term and contract storage
The clock is yours to set. Some jobs are a handful of days for an emergency or a single event. Others stretch across weeks or months for a remodel or a seasonal swell, and a few become standing contracts for businesses that want capacity parked on standby. Name your window and you will get a clean quote, no penalty for an honest "not sure yet."
Renting vs. building permanent cold storage
Building permanent cold storage is a capital project in every sense: you hire a refrigeration contractor, schedule the electrical, pull a building permit, and wait weeks before a single pallet goes inside. A rental turns that equation on its head. You bring in precisely the cold you need, for precisely the stretch you need it, and the trailer is holding temperature that same week, frequently that same day, with the commitment ending the moment your need is over.
How a trailer holds deep-freeze in triple-digit heat
Three engineered elements carry the load. Thick insulated panels and tightly gasketed doors lock the sun outside and the cold inside. A self-contained reefer condensing system specified with surplus capacity keeps stripping heat out of the box even when the air outside is brutal. And a digital thermostat locks onto your chosen number and cycles the compressor to hold the line. Run those three together and a trailer baking on open asphalt behaves like one tucked in a cool warehouse. That is also why power is the first thing we ask about: the design delivers its safety margin only on steady, uninterrupted power.
Portable refrigeration across the Paradise township
We deliver and service freezer and refrigeration trailers throughout the Paradise township and the neighboring valley, same day when you need it. If your landmark or block is not listed, call us. If it is in the Las Vegas Valley, we cover it.
Neighborhoods and towns we cover include The Las Vegas Strip, Harry Reid International Airport, Las Vegas Convention Center, Allegiant Stadium, T-Mobile Arena, Mandalay Bay, Michelob ULTRA Arena, MGM Grand, Bellagio, Caesars Palace, The Venetian, Resorts World, UNLV, Thomas & Mack Center, Cox Pavilion, Paradise Road, Koval Lane, Tropicana Avenue, Flamingo Road, Maryland Parkway, Harmon Avenue, Hughes Center, Winchester, Spring Valley.
The Las Vegas Strip. Most of the Strip physically sits in Paradise. The megaresorts, their banquet kitchens, and their arenas are our heaviest cold-storage customers, especially during convention weeks and championship events when built-in walk-ins run out of room.
Convention Center District. The Las Vegas Convention Center, the Westgate, and the hotels along Paradise Road and Convention Center Drive host back-to-back shows. Caterers stage our trailers at the dock doors to feed show floors that no permanent kitchen was sized for.
Harry Reid International area. The airport and its surrounding food-service operators run nonstop volume with almost no room to expand. When a cooler goes down mid-shift, a trailer parked nearby keeps backup inventory in spec.
University District and UNLV. Around UNLV, the Thomas & Mack Center and the Cox Pavilion host games, graduations, and conventions. Event caterers and concessionaires lean on temporary refrigeration to cover crowds the built-in storage cannot.
Allegiant Stadium and the arena cluster. Allegiant Stadium, T-Mobile Arena, and the Mandalay Bay events campus all sit in or against Paradise. Game days and concerts need surge cold storage staged in the event lots, then gone the same night.
Paradise Road and Koval Lane. The off-Strip hotel and restaurant belt along Paradise Road, Koval Lane, and the Hughes Center handles overflow convention crowds. These properties book our trailers into their event calendars for big weeks.
Planned rentals are usually scheduled same-week, and a true emergency puts a trailer on your Paradise lot in about 45 minutes.

Paradise Freezer & Refrigerated Trailer Rental FAQ
How fast can you deliver a freezer trailer on the Strip?
For emergencies we run 24/7 dispatch and keep trailers ready across the valley, so we can often have a unit rolling toward a Paradise venue within the hour. Standard bookings for conventions and banquets are best scheduled ahead, especially during peak weeks like CES, but same-day delivery is our specialty. Call the moment you know you need cold storage and we will move.
Can one trailer work as both a refrigerator and a freezer?
Yes. Every KryoFridge trailer is dual-purpose and runs off a single digital thermostat, holding steady anywhere from refrigeration temperatures down to deep freeze, roughly 50 degrees down to 10 below zero. That means the same box can hold fresh banquet proteins one week and frozen dessert product the next. For big events we often stage two trailers, one set as a cooler and one as a freezer.
How do you power a trailer at a resort dock or event lot?
There are exactly two ways. Either a standard 120V, 20-amp dedicated circuit within 100 feet of the unit, or a generator that we provide. On busy Strip docks an open dedicated circuit is not always available, so many Paradise customers go with the generator option. We confirm the power plan before delivery so the trailer is holding temperature the moment it is spotted.
What sizes do you offer, and which fits a convention setup?
We stock 6x8, 6x12, and 6x16 trailers. For catering and banquet work the 6x16 is popular because a 54-inch pallet door lets crews roll full sheet pans and pallets straight in without breaking down loads. For a smaller market or a single-kitchen backup, a 6x8 or 6x12 usually does the job. Tell us your volume and we will size it right.
Do you deliver to Allegiant Stadium and the arenas?
Yes. Allegiant Stadium, T-Mobile Arena, the Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay, and the Thomas & Mack Center at UNLV all sit in or against Paradise, and we stage trailers in their event lots and service areas regularly. We know the clearances and load-in windows at these venues, so coordinate the drop with your event-services team and we will handle the placement.
Can you hold food during a summer power outage?
That is one of our most common calls. When a heat-driven outage or a monsoon storm knocks out power, we roll a generator-powered trailer the same day so your frozen and fresh inventory stays in spec until the grid comes back. Our trailers carry a 0% spoilage record. The faster you call, the more product we save, so keep our 24/7 line handy through the summer.
Are the trailers clean enough for food service?
Yes. Our trailers are NSF approved for food storage, built with 4-inch insulated single-shell fiberglass and a keg-duty floor that stands up to heavy carts and daily use. They hold temperature reliably even when the dock is 110 degrees outside, which is exactly what a Strip banquet kitchen or a grocery back room needs.
Do you serve caterers who work off-site, away from any kitchen?
Absolutely. A lot of Paradise catering happens in ballrooms, surface lots, and hospitality tents with no built-in kitchen at all. We deliver a walk-in to the location, wire it to a dedicated circuit or a generator, and your crew has cold storage that was not there yesterday. When the event ends we pull the trailer the same day.
How long can I keep a trailer?
As long as you need it. Some customers rent for a single convention weekend, others hold a trailer for weeks while a resort rebuilds a walk-in during a kitchen remodel. We work around your event calendar or your project timeline, and we handle delivery and pickup on both ends.
Who actually shows up, KryoFridge or a subcontractor?
Us. KryoFridge is a direct owner-operated company, not a reseller or a broker. We own our fleet, one of the largest dual-purpose trailer fleets in the West, and we answer our own phones. When you call, you are dealing with the operator who delivers and services the unit, which is why our response times on the Strip are what they are.
Is KryoFridge licensed and insured?
Yes, we are fully licensed and insured, and we are backed by more than 20 years in the event and equipment rental industry as part of a long line of family operators. We serve some of the most recognized restaurant and grocery brands in the country, so resort and venue partners can bring us on-site with confidence.

How Strip resorts survive convention week without losing a single cover
Convention week in Paradise is a food-service event unlike anything else in the country. When a show like CES lands at the Las Vegas Convention Center, attendance can push past 100,000, and every one of those people eats. The megaresorts, the off-Strip hotels, and dozens of catering companies scale their operations up for a single week, then tear it all down. The one thing that cannot flex overnight is cold storage.
A resort's built-in walk-ins are sized for a strong-but-normal week. They were never engineered to hold the volume a sold-out convention throws at them. So when the show floor needs 20,000 boxed lunches or a sponsor ballroom needs a plated dinner for 3,000, the back-of-house runs out of cold real estate almost immediately. The classic solution used to be renting a reach-in here and cramming a cooler there. That does not scale, and it does not survive a 110-degree loading dock.

What a walk-in failure really costs a Strip banquet kitchen
The walk-in cooler is the lifeblood of any large kitchen. It holds the proteins, the produce, the dairy, the dressings, and the prepped ingredients that a banquet team runs on. On the Strip, where a single property might serve tens of thousands of covers a day, that walk-in is not a convenience, it is the center of the entire operation. When it fails, and eventually every walk-in fails, the kitchen goes to a standstill.
The timing is never kind. Compressors tend to give out on the busiest, hottest days, precisely when the box is working hardest and the doors are opening constantly. A championship fight weekend, a New Year's Eve buffet, a Mother's Day brunch for thousands, these are exactly the days a Strip kitchen cannot afford to lose its cold storage. And in a Paradise summer, product left warming on a 110-degree dock has a very short clock.

Powering a refrigeration trailer in the Paradise summer, and surviving the outage
Paradise summers are a stress test for anything that has to stay cold. From June into September, valley highs run from 105 to 115 degrees, and the grid runs at peak strain right alongside them. NV Energy manages heavy summer demand across the Las Vegas Valley, and heat-driven outages hit some part of the metro most summers. For any kitchen or market that depends on refrigeration, the summer is when the risk is highest.
Understanding how a trailer gets power is the first step to being ready. Every KryoFridge trailer runs one of two ways: a standard 120V, 20-amp dedicated circuit within 100 feet of the unit, or a generator that we provide. That is the whole list. The dedicated-circuit option is clean and quiet when a proper outlet is available, which is common at a warehouse or a market but less certain on a crowded Strip dock.

A Paradise event operator's guide to renting portable cold storage
If you produce events anywhere in Paradise, from the Convention Center to the arena lots to an off-Strip ballroom, cold storage is one of the details that quietly makes or breaks the day. Getting it right is not complicated, but it rewards planning. Here is how experienced operators approach a refrigeration trailer rental in this corridor.
Start with volume and temperature zones. Figure out roughly how much product you need to hold and whether it is refrigerated, frozen, or both. A single dual-purpose trailer can flex between cooler and freezer, but if you need both fresh proteins and frozen dessert at the same event, plan for two units so each holds its own zone cleanly. Our team helps you size this from your guest count and menu.
