Walk-In Freezer & Refrigeration Trailer Rentals in Las Vegas
KryoFridge rents walk-in refrigerated and freezer trailers across the entire Las Vegas Valley, from the Strip and the convention corridor to Henderson, Summerlin, and the North Las Vegas warehouse district. One dial takes each trailer from a cooler down to a hard freeze, and we deliver same-day when your cold storage runs out of room or quits on you.
Why Las Vegas Calls KryoFridge First for Mobile Cold Storage
We run one of the largest refrigerated and freezer trailer fleets in the West, and a big share of it lives close to the 215 and the Strip because Las Vegas never stops needing cold space. KryoFridge is the refrigeration and freezer arm of a family that has been in the event and equipment rental business for over 30 years, so you are dealing with the owner-operator that actually holds the fleet, not a broker forwarding your job to a stranger. Every unit is NSF approved, licensed, and insured, and each one runs as either a cooler or a freezer on a single digital thermostat that holds anywhere from 0 to 50 degrees F. When a convention caterer, a resort banquet kitchen, or a Smith's grocery loses cold storage in the middle of a Vegas summer, we answer the phone and get a trailer moving the same day.
Already in town, not two counties away
Our trailers sit staged around Las Vegas, fueled, pre-cooled, and maintained in-house, parked and waiting for the call rather than being sourced after it. That is why an emergency call usually puts a unit on your lot and pulling temperature in about 45 minutes.
The direct operator, never a broker
The voice on the phone belongs to the same outfit that owns the trailer and sends the driver. No reseller in the middle quietly marking up somebody else's equipment while your inventory creeps past 40°F on the shelf.
The largest dual-purpose fleet in the West
Every unit is ours to own, service, and deliver, and each one swings between deep-freeze and fresh-cold on a precise digital set-point. So we can size the answer to your Las Vegas job and turn it around the same day rather than putting you on next week's list.
We stage fleet in the valley, not three states away. Plenty of the outfits advertising freezer trailers in Las Vegas are brokers who do not own a single trailer, so your same-day emergency turns into a two-day drive from somewhere else. KryoFridge keeps units staged near the valley year-round, which is how we hit same-day delivery from the Strip to Summerlin to North Las Vegas even at the height of summer.
The Cold-Storage Name America's Biggest Brands Keep on Speed Dial
National chains do not gamble on refrigeration. A drifting set-point during dinner rush can cost a brand a day of sales and a health-code headache, so the chains that scale fast vet a cold-storage partner the same careful way they vet a protein supplier. KryoFridge has held temperature for names like McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, and Dutch Bros, and earned the repeat call.

The stories behind that trust are the kind every restaurant owner recognizes. One Friday at 6:30 in the evening, a Chick-fil-A called in with a dead walk-in and a drive-through line already wrapped around the building. We prepped a trailer, dispatched it, and had it on their pad pulling temperature 34 minutes after the phone rang. The manager's first words when the driver pulled in were, "I cannot believe you are already here." That is the bar we hold ourselves to. Another year, an overnight outage shorted a cooler on the morning of a holiday rush, and our team staged three freezer trailers to hold every pie, every protein, and every prep tray so the kitchen served the rush without missing a ticket. The reason we hear some version of that line so often is the same every time: the equipment was already nearby, already cold, and owned by the people who answered the phone. That same standard travels to every Las Vegas job, from a one-cook taqueria to a distribution floor.
Mobile Cold Storage for the Convention Corridor
The flagship 6x16 walk-in gives a Strip banquet kitchen or a warehouse in North Las Vegas real floor space to roll in racks and pallets, and the 54-inch pallet door plus keg-duty floor mean a forklift or a hand truck loads straight through even when it is 110 degrees outside.
The Las Vegas Convention Center runs more than four and a half million square feet, and when a show like CES, World of Concrete, or the National Association of Broadcasters takes it over, the built-in kitchen space was never designed to feed that many people. Catering companies working the West Hall and the halls at Wynn, The Venetian Expo, Caesars Forum, and Mandalay Bay South routinely need cold and frozen storage parked right outside the loading dock, and they need it staged before the show floor opens.
We deliver walk-in refrigerated and freezer trailers straight to the dock or the back lot so a caterer can hold proteins, produce, dairy, and prepped trays steps from where the food is plated. A single 6x16 trailer holds a serious volume of pallets and speed racks, and because each one dials from a cooler to a freezer, one trailer can run cold for the banquet line and the next one can run frozen for backup inventory.
| Spec | What you get |
|---|---|
| Temperature range | Roughly -10°F deep-freeze up to about 50°F fresh-cold |
| Mode | Dual-purpose: freezer or refrigerator on one precise digital set-point |
| Power | A dedicated 120V, 20-amp circuit within about 100 feet, or a generator we supply |
| Food safety | NSF-approved for direct food contact, food-safe surfaces, proper drainage |
| Footprints | 6x8, 6x12, and 6x16, from a tight retail lot to distribution scale |
| Backing | Owned in-house, fully licensed and insured, with 24/7 emergency dispatch |
Each unit holds a precise digital set-point and runs on a dedicated 120V/20A circuit or a generator. The trailers are not wired for 208 to 240V building service, so we confirm your hookup before the truck rolls.
Convention schedules are unforgiving. Move-in, show days, and move-out all happen on a fixed clock, and there is no grace period if the food is warm. Our 24/7 dispatch and same-day delivery exist for exactly this, and our trailers plug into a standard 120V, 20-amp dedicated circuit within 100 feet, or we bring a generator when the dock does not have power to spare.
We have kept cold storage running through some of the busiest weeks on the LVCVA calendar, including the crush around CES in January and the summer trade shows when the ambient heat makes reliable refrigeration a make-or-break detail. When the show is over, we pull the trailer on your move-out day so it is not sitting in the way of the next load-out.
Mobile Cold Storage Built for the Whole Valley
Las Vegas runs on two things that both live or die on refrigeration: the visitor economy on the Strip and in the convention halls, and the food supply that feeds three million residents and forty million tourists a year. We supply cold and frozen storage on demand for both. Here is where our trailers spend most of their time across the valley.

🍽 Festivals and outdoor events
EDC at the Motor Speedway, Life is Beautiful downtown, and the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix all need cold and frozen storage staged in lots with no permanent kitchen. We deliver walk-in trailers to the site and run them on generators where there is no dedicated power.

🛒 Weddings and private catering
Summerlin, Lake Las Vegas, and Red Rock venues host big-guest-count weddings where the caterer needs cold storage on-site. A single trailer holds the whole menu, cake and all, at a set temperature through the whole event.

📦 Warehousing and distribution
The North Las Vegas industrial corridor near I-15 and the 215 moves a constant stream of goods. When a distribution center needs temporary cold or frozen overflow, or a cold chain hits a bottleneck, we drop in extra walk-in capacity fast.

🎪 Film and TV production
Productions shooting around the valley and out toward the desert need reliable on-set cold storage for talent, crew catering, and product. We deliver to base camp and keep it running for the length of the shoot.

🚨 Licensed cannabis and specialty
Nevada's licensed cannabis and specialty-product operators sometimes need temperature-controlled overflow during a build-out or a surge. Our sealed, NSF-approved walk-ins give them clean, monitored-setpoint cold space on short notice.

🏭 Disaster and outage response
When NV Energy sheds load during a summer peak or a wind event knocks out power near the foothills, we roll trailers to grocery, healthcare, and community sites to protect food and cold inventory until the grid comes back.
What ties these together is the clock. Nobody budgets a freezer trailer into next quarter. They reach for one the hour a compressor quits, or the evening before a party when the stack of rented ice chests suddenly looks laughably undersized. Since our units sit staged around Las Vegas instead of a couple counties down the freeway, "can I get it today" is an ordinary ask here, not a stretch.

What a Cold-Storage Failure Actually Costs a Las Vegas Operation
Add it up the way a Las Vegas owner has to. One restaurant walk-in routinely sits on a small fortune in proteins, dairy, and prepped product. Scale that to a grocery rack or a warehouse freezer bay and the exposure balloons. Now knock the power or the compressor out on a triple-digit afternoon, and that whole inventory is in jeopardy inside a few hours. Then stack on the sales you lose while the line sits dark and the wages you burn paying staff to triage what can still be saved.
Hold a pre-staged trailer up against that risk and it reads like cheap insurance, a fixed, predictable expense parked in front of a loss with no ceiling. That is exactly why the businesses that got stung once tape our number by the phone. There is never a second scramble, because the next time they dial before the product has a chance to warm. Owning every trailer ourselves means we can scale the answer to fit. A single compact box suits a corner cafe. A clustered setup covers a warehouse floor. Either turns around the same day.
Vegas Heat Is the Reason Mobile Cold Storage Sells Out
Las Vegas is one of the hottest large cities in the country. Summer afternoons routinely run 105 to 115 degrees F from June into September, and the pavement in a resort back lot or a warehouse yard reads even hotter. That kind of heat is brutal on refrigeration. Compressors that limp along in spring finally quit in July, and any walk-in that was marginal becomes a failure waiting to happen.
The monsoon season stacks a second problem on top of the first. From July through September, afternoon storms drive flash flooding and knock out power near the foothills and across older parts of the valley. NV Energy also runs its summer grid near peak, and heat-driven outages hit right when kitchens and grocery stores can least afford to lose cold storage.
That combination is why Vegas books our trailers harder than almost any market we serve. A KryoFridge walk-in runs on a standard 120V, 20-amp dedicated circuit or a generator, holds its setpoint through the worst of the afternoon, and gives an operator a way to protect their inventory when the heat and the grid both turn against them. We keep fleet staged in the valley through the summer for exactly this reason.
Backup Mobile Cold Storage for Strip Kitchens and Banquets
A Strip resort kitchen is one of the highest-volume food operations in the country, and its walk-in coolers and freezers are always near capacity. When a property books a citywide convention, a boxing weekend at T-Mobile Arena, a Raiders game at Allegiant Stadium, or New Year's Eve, the banquet team has to stage far more product than the permanent cold rooms can hold. That is when a walk-in trailer in the back-of-house yard becomes the overflow freezer they cannot live without.
The other call we get is the emergency. A compressor gives out on a walk-in cooler during a busy service, and suddenly a resort has thousands of dollars of proteins and prepped ingredients with a ticking clock. We stage trailers close to the resort corridor for this reason, and we can have cold storage on-site the same day so the kitchen keeps plating while their permanent unit gets repaired.
Resorts and their catering partners like that they are dealing with a licensed, insured, owner-operated company. Our freezer side is trusted by some of the most recognized brands in America, including McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, and Dutch Bros Coffee, along with many more national restaurant, grocery, and quick-service brands. That track record matters when a banquet director is deciding who to trust with a room full of product.
Every trailer arrives NSF approved with a keg-duty floor and a 54-inch pallet door, so a resort loading crew can move racks and kegs in without fighting the equipment. Whether the property needs one cooler for a weekend fight card or three freezers for a holiday banquet stretch, we size the fleet to the event.
Emergency Mobile Cold Storage When a Walk-In Fails
The walk-in cooler is the lifeblood of any grocery store or restaurant. It holds the proteins, produce, dairy, dressings, and prepped ingredients the whole operation runs on, so when it fails, the business is at a standstill. In Las Vegas that failure comes more often in summer, when 110-degree afternoons push refrigeration compressors and the grid to their limits and a marginal unit finally gives out.
We serve the grocery banners all over the valley, from Smith's and Albertsons to Vons, WinCo, Sprouts, Cardenas, La Bonita, and the Sam's Club and Costco warehouse clubs. When a store loses a walk-in or needs overflow cold space for a holiday rush, a KryoFridge trailer in the parking lot saves the inventory and keeps the doors open.
Restaurants across Spring Valley, Chinatown on Spring Mountain, Henderson, and the southwest valley call us for the same reason. A failed walk-in during a Friday dinner rush is a red-alert, and our record on that is real: we once had a Chick-fil-A back in cold storage 34 minutes after the phone rang, dead in the middle of their dinner rush with the walk-in down.
Because every trailer holds from 0 to 50 degrees F on a digital thermostat, the same unit that saves a cooler load one week can run as a hard freezer the next. Same-day delivery and 24/7 dispatch mean a Vegas operator is never more than a phone call away from getting their cold storage back.
Setting the Right Temperature for What You're Holding
"Cold" is not one number. Different product stays safe inside different temperature windows, which is the entire reason a precise digital set-point matters, and in the middle of a Las Vegas heat wave, a load that slips out of its window is a load you write off. Use the chart below as the reference our customers lean on when they size a rental.
| Product | Target holding band | Trailer mode |
|---|---|---|
| Ice cream and frozen desserts | -10°F to 0°F | Deep freeze |
| Frozen proteins, seafood, prepared meals | 0°F or below | Freezer |
| Fresh meat and poultry (short hold) | 28°F to 32°F | Refrigerated |
| Dairy, deli, packaged produce | 34°F to 38°F | Refrigerated |
| Beverages, florals, catering trays | 38°F to 45°F | Refrigerated |
One figure outranks everything in that chart, and it is not listed there: 40°F. Food-safety guidance treats the band between 40°F and 140°F as the zone where bacteria thrive, and the clock on perishable product starts ticking the moment it crosses 40 on the way up. Roughly four cumulative hours above that line and most refrigerated inventory is no longer safe to serve. Picture that countdown running on a 100-degree afternoon in Las Vegas with the walk-in dark, and the urgency of a quick trailer drop stops being abstract.
Tell us the single coldest item you are holding when you call, and we dial the trailer to that. One unit carries a straight freezer load with no fuss. But when your list mixes deep-freeze desserts with fresh-cold produce for the same remodel or event, we will usually point you toward a split setup or a second box so neither side of the load has to settle for the wrong temperature.
Power and Placement on a Las Vegas Site
Powering one of our trailers is refreshingly simple, and there are precisely two ways to do it. Either you have a dedicated 120-volt, 20-amp circuit reachable within roughly 100 feet of the parking spot, or we bring a generator. What the units will not accept is standard 208 to 240V building service, so a quick question about your outlet before dispatch heads off any surprise on delivery day.
- Dedicated outlet on hand? Most Las Vegas kitchens and markets already have the right one, so we plug straight in and the unit begins pulling the temperature down.
- Open lot or event field? A generator keeps the trailer running anywhere, whether that is an event lawn or a warehouse yard.
- Worried about a shutoff? A unit on a generator keeps your cold chain alive when a fire-season power shutoff takes the surrounding grid down.
On placement, all the unit really asks for is a fairly flat patch with enough room for the delivery truck to maneuver it in and set it straight, plus either a power source in reach or space for a generator. We lock down the exact drop point before dispatch, and our drivers know the Las Vegas layout cold, so the delivery is one clean trip instead of a guessing game on the property.
From the Field, Real Las Vegas-Area Saves
Convention caterer, Las Vegas Convention Center during a January show
A catering company working a major show in the West Hall ran out of walk-in space two days before doors opened. We staged a 6x16 refrigerated trailer at their loading dock the same afternoon and a second freezer trailer the next morning. They held every protein and prepped tray steps from the plating line and served the full show with zero product lost.
Strip resort banquet kitchen, walk-in cooler down mid-service
A compressor failed on a resort's back-of-house walk-in during a booked banquet weekend. We had a cooler trailer on-site in the yard the same day, and the banquet team moved their entire cold inventory into it while their permanent unit was repaired. Not a single event on the calendar got cancelled and nothing spoiled.
Chick-fil-A, Friday dinner rush, walk-in failure
The call came in at 6:30 on a Friday evening with the walk-in dead in the middle of the dinner rush and the drive-through backed up around the block. We took the call, prepped a trailer, and had it on-site 34 minutes after the phone rang. The store finished the night without dumping a single case of product.
Renting a Freezer Trailer in Las Vegas, Step by Step
On a bad day, booking should be the part that does not add stress. Four steps, an upfront number, and a single person who owns the whole thing.
1 · Describe the load
Tell us whether it is freezer or fridge product, a ballpark volume, and your rough window. That is enough for us to call the right size.
2 · We finalize size, power & spot
We pair you with a unit, confirm whether you have a dedicated circuit or need a generator, and pin the exact drop point so the truck makes one trip.
3 · Delivery and cold-down
We arrive on your schedule, about 45 minutes for a true emergency, set the trailer, energize it, and let it drive down to your number.
4 · Run it, reach us anytime
It holds the set-point for your entire term while our line stays live the whole way through. Wrap up, and we swing back for the pickup.
Permits, Power, and Placement in Clark County
Temporary food and cold storage in the Las Vegas Valley falls under the Southern Nevada Health District, which regulates food establishments across Clark County. If you are running a temporary event, a special event food permit or a health-district review may apply to how food is held and stored on-site. We are not your permit office, but our NSF-approved trailers are built to hold food safely at a controlled setpoint so your operation meets the standard the health district expects.
Power is the detail people miss most. Every KryoFridge trailer runs one of two ways: a standard 120V, 20-amp dedicated circuit within 100 feet of the trailer, or a generator we provide. It is not a 208 or 240-volt hookup. On a resort dock or a warehouse with power to spare, the dedicated circuit is simple. In a parking lot, a desert event site, or anywhere without a clean dedicated circuit, we bring the generator so the trailer never loses its cold.
Placement matters in a valley this hot and this busy. We need firm, reasonably level ground for the trailer and clear access for the delivery truck, and on the Strip or in a convention lot we coordinate around loading-dock schedules and event traffic. Tell us where the trailer needs to sit and how you plan to power it, and we handle the rest so it is running and holding temperature the day it arrives.
What our trailers bring to a health-code inspection
- NSF-approved interior surfaces built for direct food contact.
- A digital controller that puts the set-point in plain view for the inspector.
- Proper drainage and a sealed, food-safe insulated box.
- Licensed and insured on every unit we put on the road.
One caveat we always state plainly: we supply the food-safe, temperature-holding hardware itself, but we are not a temperature-logging or alarm-monitoring service. If your program requires continuous written records, line that vendor up on your own.
Three Trailer Sizes, and How to Pick Yours
We stock three footprints, and together they stretch from a one-kitchen overflow all the way to distribution and disaster-scale capacity. Each one is dual-purpose by design, a single adjustable system that swings between freezer and refrigerator on a precise digital set-point, and each one lives on either a dedicated circuit or a generator.
| Trailer | Best for | Temp range |
|---|---|---|
| 6x8 | Tight lots, small kitchens, short overflow | -10°F to 50°F |
| 6x12 | Grocers, caterers, mid-size events | Deep-freeze capable |
| 6x16 | Distribution, large events, disaster | Heavy-duty reefer |
Each unit holds a precise digital set-point and runs on a dedicated 120V/20A circuit or a generator.
6x8, the compact pick for tight retail lots
Think eight or so pallet spots, and the unit to grab when square footage is the whole problem. It slips into the pinched service yards and cramped back-of-house corners that a larger box cannot even swing into. One cafe or small-market walk-in goes down, and this is almost always enough cold to cover it, plus the simplest unit to set in a small space.
6x12, the everyday pick for grocers and caterers
Call it fourteen pallet spots, deep-freeze rated, and far and away the size people ask for most. It lands right in the middle: roomy enough for a multi-day catering job or a restaurant that needs true walk-in-equivalent room while the kitchen is torn up. Roomy enough that nobody is playing Tetris with shelves, yet still small enough to set in most commercial back lots without a site survey.
6x16, the heavy hauler for distribution and disaster
Roughly twenty pallet spots paired with a heavy-duty reefer plant engineered to keep deep-freeze locked in even when the ambient air is merciless. Reach for it when a warehouse bay drops, when a large festival needs an anchor, or when a relief operation is carrying its own cold chain.
Not sure which size fits? Tell us roughly what you are storing and for how long, and we will spec it for you rather than nudging you into a bigger unit than the job calls for.
More Las Vegas Cold-Storage Rental Questions
The questions that surface once the basics are settled. Tap any topic to open it.
Freezer trailer vs. portable walk-in vs. reefer truck. Which should you rent?
The pop-up walk-in cooler. Cheap to rent and easy to set up, but it chills, it does not freeze, and it draws every watt it needs from your building while depending on a calm ambient temperature around it. The second your building loses power, your cooler loses it too.
The refrigerated box truck. Designed to haul product on the interstate, not to sit in a lot and babysit it. Parked, it idles fuel all day, broadcasts compressor noise across a storefront or an event lawn, and pins down a tractor plus a driver you probably do not need.
The freezer trailer we deliver. Built from the ground up to be dropped on a pad and to defend a temperature for as long as the job runs. It freezes deep, carries NSF approval, locks, stays quiet near guests, and lives on nothing more than one dedicated circuit or a generator.
NSF build quality and health-code compliance
Even a rented box has to satisfy the county environmental health office that licenses and inspects every food facility. Show an inspector a unit that cannot document its temperature or was not built for food contact, and they have the authority to halt service immediately.
That is a bar each of our trailers clears: NSF-approved throughout, food-safe interior surfaces, proper drainage, and a digital controller that puts the set-point in plain view. We supply the food-safe, temperature-holding hardware itself, but we are not a temperature-logging or alarm-monitoring service.
Multi-trailer setups for distribution and large operations
For a typical kitchen or market, one box does the job. Distribution floors, big fairs, and full-scale disaster response routinely need more, and because the fleet is ours, we can cluster several units and bring them online in waves as the work expands. Match the cold capacity to the operation rather than make the operation squeeze itself into one box.
Short-term emergency vs. long-term and contract storage
The clock is yours to set. Some jobs are a handful of days for an emergency or a single event. Others stretch across weeks or months for a remodel or a seasonal swell, and a few become standing contracts for businesses that want capacity parked on standby. Name your window and you will get a clean quote, no penalty for an honest "not sure yet."
Renting vs. building permanent cold storage
Building permanent cold storage is a capital project in every sense: you hire a refrigeration contractor, schedule the electrical, pull a building permit, and wait weeks before a single pallet goes inside. A rental turns that equation on its head. You bring in precisely the cold you need, for precisely the stretch you need it, and the trailer is holding temperature that same week, frequently that same day, with the commitment ending the moment your need is over.
How a trailer holds deep-freeze in triple-digit heat
Three engineered elements carry the load. Thick insulated panels and tightly gasketed doors lock the sun outside and the cold inside. A self-contained reefer condensing system specified with surplus capacity keeps stripping heat out of the box even when the air outside is brutal. And a digital thermostat locks onto your chosen number and cycles the compressor to hold the line. Run those three together and a trailer baking on open asphalt behaves like one tucked in a cool warehouse. That is also why power is the first thing we ask about: the design delivers its safety margin only on steady, uninterrupted power.
Mobile Cold Storage Delivered Across the Las Vegas Valley
We deliver refrigerated and freezer trailers same-day across the entire Las Vegas metro. If your neighborhood is not on this list, call us anyway, because we cover the whole valley and the surrounding communities.
Neighborhoods and towns we cover include Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Paradise, Spring Valley, Enterprise, Sunrise Manor, Summerlin, Winchester, Whitney, Green Valley, Lake Las Vegas, Southern Highlands, Centennial Hills, Aliante, Mountain's Edge, The Lakes, Chinatown, Downtown Las Vegas, Fremont, Blue Diamond, Rhodes Ranch, Seven Hills, Boulder City.
The Strip and Paradise. The resort corridor and the Harry Reid airport area drive the heaviest cold storage demand in the valley. Convention catering, resort banquets, and arena events all need overflow and backup capacity staged close to the loading docks, often on short notice.
Downtown and Fremont. Downtown, the Arts District, and the Fremont Street corridor host festivals, breweries, and a growing restaurant scene. When Life is Beautiful takes over the neighborhood or a downtown kitchen loses a walk-in, we deliver into tight urban lots.
Summerlin and the west valley. Summerlin, Downtown Summerlin, and the Red Rock area host weddings, corporate events, and upscale catering that need clean, reliable cold storage on-site. The master-planned layout means we plan delivery access ahead of the event.
Henderson and Green Valley. Henderson, Green Valley, and Lake Las Vegas run a dense mix of grocery, restaurants, and corporate campuses. Summer heat pushes walk-ins hard here, and we serve the whole southeast valley with same-day emergency trailers.
North Las Vegas and the industrial corridor. The warehouse and distribution belt near I-15 and the 215 moves goods around the clock. Distribution centers and food processors call us for temporary frozen and refrigerated overflow when their cold chain needs extra room.
Southwest valley, Enterprise, and Southern Highlands. The fast-growing southwest, including Enterprise, Southern Highlands, Mountain's Edge, and Spring Valley, is packed with newer restaurants and grocery stores. We cover this side of the valley for both planned events and walk-in emergencies.
Planned rentals are usually scheduled same-week, and a true emergency puts a trailer on your Las Vegas lot in about 45 minutes.

Las Vegas Freezer & Refrigerated Trailer Rental FAQ
How fast can you deliver a refrigerated or freezer trailer in Las Vegas?
Same-day across the whole valley in most cases, and our dispatch runs 24/7. We keep fleet staged near the Las Vegas metro year-round, so when a walk-in fails on a summer afternoon we can have a trailer on-site the same day from the Strip to Summerlin to North Las Vegas. Call, tell us where the trailer goes, and we get one moving.
Do your trailers work as a refrigerator or a freezer?
Both. Every KryoFridge trailer runs as either a cooler or a freezer on a single digital thermostat that holds anywhere from 0 to 50 degrees F. You set the temperature to what your product needs, and one unit can run cold for a banquet line one week and as a hard freezer the next. That dual-purpose flexibility is one of the things that sets us apart.
What sizes do you rent?
We rent walk-in trailers in 6x8, 6x12, and 6x16 footprints. The 6x8 suits a small restaurant or a tight lot, the 6x12 handles most events and mid-size grocery needs, and the 6x16 gives convention caterers and warehouses real floor space for pallets and speed racks. We help you size it to the job when you call.
How much power does a trailer need?
One of two ways. Either a standard 120V, 20-amp dedicated circuit within 100 feet of the trailer, or a generator we provide. It is not a 208 or 240-volt hookup. On a resort dock or a warehouse the dedicated circuit is easy, and for parking lots or desert event sites we bring the generator so the trailer never loses its cold.
Do you serve the whole Las Vegas Valley?
Yes. We deliver across Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Paradise, Spring Valley, Enterprise, Sunrise Manor, Summerlin, and out to Boulder City, plus every neighborhood in between. If you are anywhere in the Clark County metro, we can get a trailer to you.
Can you handle a walk-in cooler emergency?
That is one of our most common calls. When a walk-in fails, the whole kitchen or store is at a standstill, so we move fast. We once had a Chick-fil-A back in cold storage 34 minutes after the phone rang, dead in the middle of their dinner rush. Same-day delivery and 24/7 dispatch exist for exactly this.
Are the trailers NSF approved and safe for food?
Yes. Every trailer is NSF approved, built with a 4-inch insulated single-shell fiberglass body, a keg-duty floor, and a 54-inch pallet door for easy loading. They hold a controlled setpoint so your proteins, produce, and dairy stay at a safe temperature the whole rental.
Do you rent for conventions and big events?
Constantly. We supply cold and frozen storage for the Las Vegas Convention Center, resort banquet kitchens, and outdoor events like EDC, Life is Beautiful, and the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. We stage trailers to your dock or lot on your move-in schedule and pull them on move-out day so they are never in the way.
Are you a broker or do you own the trailers?
We own the fleet. KryoFridge is a direct, owner-operated company, not a broker or a reseller, and we are licensed and insured. When you call, you are dealing with the people who actually hold the trailers, which is how we deliver same-day instead of forwarding your job to someone two states away.
Who else do you work with?
Our freezer side is trusted by some of the most recognized brands in America, including McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, and Dutch Bros Coffee, along with many more national restaurant, grocery, and quick-service brands. How long can I keep a trailer?
As long as you need it. Some customers rent for a single weekend event, some for a multi-week walk-in repair or a build-out, and some keep a trailer through the summer as backup during peak heat. Tell us your timeline and we build the rental around it.
What happens during a summer power outage?
This is a real Las Vegas risk when NV Energy runs near peak or a monsoon storm knocks out power near the foothills. If you lose your cold storage in an outage, we can roll a trailer to your site and run it on a generator so your food and inventory stay protected until the grid comes back. Keep our number handy before the summer peak hits.

Surviving a Las Vegas Summer: Protecting Cold Storage When the Grid Strains
Las Vegas summers are not just hot, they are relentless. From June into September the average daily high runs from the upper 90s past 104 degrees, and afternoon pavement in a back lot or warehouse yard reads far hotter. For anyone who stores food or product cold, that heat is the single biggest threat to their operation, and it lasts for months, not days.
The first thing the heat does is push refrigeration equipment to its limit. Compressors that run fine in spring are working against a much larger temperature gap in July, and a walk-in that was already marginal is the one that fails first. In the valley, we see the same pattern every year: the emergency calls spike the week the highs cross 105.

Cold Storage Planning for Las Vegas Conventions and Trade Shows
The Las Vegas Convention Center anchors a convention economy unlike anywhere else in the country, and the marquee shows that fill it, from CES to World of Concrete to the broadcasters' convention, put enormous pressure on food service. The built-in kitchen and cold storage were never designed to feed the crowds these shows draw, which is why smart caterers plan their cold storage weeks in advance.
The first rule of event cold storage planning is to size for the peak, not the average. A show's busiest lunch service can demand several times the cold and frozen capacity of a normal day, and running short in the middle of a move-in is not a mistake you can fix on the spot. Counting your proteins, produce, dairy, and prepped trays against your available walk-in space is where planning starts.

When a Walk-In Fails: The Emergency Cold Storage Playbook for Vegas Kitchens
Every restaurant and grocery operator dreads the same phone call: the walk-in is down. The walk-in cooler is the core of back-of-house, holding the proteins, produce, dairy, dressings, and prepped ingredients the whole operation runs on. When it fails, the kitchen or store is at a standstill, and in Las Vegas the clock runs faster because the ambient heat is working against you.
The first move in the first ten minutes is to stop opening the door. A sealed walk-in holds its cold far longer than one that is being opened every minute, so limit access and keep what cold you have. At the same time, get a thermometer on your most temperature-sensitive product so you know how much runway you actually have before food safety becomes the issue.

Temporary Food Storage Rules in Clark County: What Vegas Operators Should Know
Anyone holding food cold at a temporary event in the Las Vegas Valley operates under the Southern Nevada Health District, the agency that regulates food establishments across Clark County. Understanding how the health district looks at temporary cold storage keeps your event on the right side of the rules and, more important, keeps your food safe in a climate that punishes mistakes.
The core principle is temperature control. Potentially hazardous foods, meaning the proteins, dairy, and prepared items that support bacterial growth, have to be held cold enough to stay out of the danger zone. In practice that means reliable, monitored-setpoint cold storage, not a cooler full of ice hoping to last the afternoon in 105-degree heat.
