Mobile Refrigerated & Freezer Trailer Rentals in Las Vegas
When a walk-in dies mid service on the Strip or a convention needs cold storage the resort kitchen can't spare, KryoFridge rolls a mobile refrigerated or freezer trailer to your Las Vegas door, dial it anywhere from 0 to 50 degrees, and keep your product cold. Same-day delivery, 24/7 dispatch, family-owned, zero spoilage.
The refrigerated trailer rentals Las Vegas operators call first
KryoFridge is the refrigeration and freezer arm of a rental family with 20-plus years in the event and equipment business, and we run one of the largest dual-purpose refrigerated fleets in the West. We own every trailer. You deal with us directly, not a broker or a ghost company that sub-rents someone else's gear. We're licensed and insured, some of the most recognized brands in America trust us on the freezer side, McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, and Dutch Bros Coffee among them, and in a city that never closes we answer the phone at 3 a.m. the same way we do at noon. That's how you hold a 0 percent spoilage record in a town built on cold product and desert heat.
Already in town, not two counties away
Our trailers sit staged around Las Vegas, fueled, pre-cooled, and maintained in-house, parked and waiting for the call rather than being sourced after it. That is why an emergency call usually puts a unit on your lot and pulling temperature in about 45 minutes.
The direct operator, never a broker
The voice on the phone belongs to the same outfit that owns the trailer and sends the driver. No reseller in the middle quietly marking up somebody else's equipment while your inventory creeps past 40°F on the shelf.
The largest dual-purpose fleet in the West
Every unit is ours to own, service, and deliver, and each one swings between deep-freeze and fresh-cold on a precise digital set-point. So we can size the answer to your Las Vegas job and turn it around the same day rather than putting you on next week's list.
One dial, cooler or freezer, on every trailer. Vegas jobs change hour to hour. A trailer that holds salads at 38 in the morning and switches to frozen desserts at night, or that flips from a beverage cooler to a hard freezer between two events, means you rent one unit instead of two. Every KryoFridge trailer adjusts across the full 0 to 50 degree range on a digital thermostat, so you're never locked into the wrong temperature for the job in front of you.
The Cold-Storage Name America's Biggest Brands Keep on Speed Dial
National chains do not gamble on refrigeration. A drifting set-point during dinner rush can cost a brand a day of sales and a health-code headache, so the chains that scale fast vet a cold-storage partner the same careful way they vet a protein supplier. KryoFridge has held temperature for names like McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, and Dutch Bros, and earned the repeat call.

The stories behind that trust are the kind every restaurant owner recognizes. One Friday at 6:30 in the evening, a Chick-fil-A called in with a dead walk-in and a drive-through line already wrapped around the building. We prepped a trailer, dispatched it, and had it on their pad pulling temperature 34 minutes after the phone rang. The manager's first words when the driver pulled in were, "I cannot believe you are already here." That is the bar we hold ourselves to. Another year, an overnight outage shorted a cooler on the morning of a holiday rush, and our team staged three freezer trailers to hold every pie, every protein, and every prep tray so the kitchen served the rush without missing a ticket. The reason we hear some version of that line so often is the same every time: the equipment was already nearby, already cold, and owned by the people who answered the phone. That same standard travels to every Las Vegas job, from a one-cook taqueria to a distribution floor.
Refrigerated trailers that scale to convention-hall volume
Every KryoFridge unit is one adjustable trailer that runs as a walk-in cooler or a hard freezer, so a Strip banquet team can chill 400 plated salads at 38 degrees while a distributor two miles away holds pallets at 10 below, both from the same fleet.
The Las Vegas Convention Center runs some of the largest shows on earth, CES in January and World of Concrete in the winter alone pull hundreds of thousands of attendees, and the resort halls at Mandalay Bay, Caesars Forum, The Venetian Expo, and Resorts World add millions more square feet of exhibit and banquet space on top of that. No convention kitchen, however big, was built to feed a one-week spike that triples its normal covers. That's where we come in.
When a show floor needs a satellite kitchen, a beverage sponsor needs to hold thousands of cases cold, or a caterer is plating 5,000 lunches in a hall that has no cold room nearby, we stage refrigerated trailers right at the loading dock. A 6x16 unit swallows a serious amount of product, and because it dials from 0 to 50 degrees, the same trailer can hold seafood towers at 34 in the morning and switch to ice cream and frozen desserts for an evening reception.
| Spec | What you get |
|---|---|
| Temperature range | Roughly -10°F deep-freeze up to about 50°F fresh-cold |
| Mode | Dual-purpose: freezer or refrigerator on one precise digital set-point |
| Power | A dedicated 120V, 20-amp circuit within about 100 feet, or a generator we supply |
| Food safety | NSF-approved for direct food contact, food-safe surfaces, proper drainage |
| Footprints | 6x8, 6x12, and 6x16, from a tight retail lot to distribution scale |
| Backing | Owned in-house, fully licensed and insured, with 24/7 emergency dispatch |
Each unit holds a precise digital set-point and runs on a dedicated 120V/20A circuit or a generator. The trailers are not wired for 208 to 240V building service, so we confirm your hookup before the truck rolls.
Load-in and load-out windows in this town are brutal and non-negotiable. Our 24/7 dispatch and same-day delivery are built for exactly that, we've dropped trailers overnight so a booth or a banquet was cold and ready before the doors opened. The 54-inch pallet door means a forklift loads it straight off the truck, no hand-bombing cases through a narrow reach-in.
Power is simple. Each trailer needs one dedicated 120V, 20-amp circuit within 100 feet, or we bring a generator, so we're not fighting a resort's house electrical for a temporary hookup. Tell us the hall, the dock, and the load-in time, and we handle the rest.
Other jobs our refrigerated trailers handle across the valley
This is a convention-and-catering economy stacked on top of a 24-hour hospitality machine, and it all runs on cold storage. When the built-in coolers run out of room or run out of steam, our trailers are the overflow, the backup, and the emergency room. Here's where they earn their keep in the valley.

🍽 Stadium and arena events
Allegiant Stadium, T-Mobile Arena, Michelob ULTRA Arena, and the Las Vegas Ballpark push huge concession and hospitality volume on game and concert nights. We stage cold and frozen trailers so the concourses and premium clubs never run short.

🛒 Weddings and private events
From Summerlin ballrooms to Downtown venues and the wedding chapels the city is famous for, caterers use our trailers to hold cake, florals, proteins, and champagne cold on-site when the venue has no back-of-house cooler.

📦 Film, TV, and production
Vegas is a constant production backdrop. Catering and craft services on location get a refrigerated trailer that follows the shoot, holds product cold in the desert heat, and runs off a generator when there's no building power.

🎪 Warehousing and distribution
The North Las Vegas industrial corridor and the Southwest distribution parks lean on us for temporary cold storage during freezer maintenance, seasonal overstock, or a new-line build-out before permanent refrigeration is installed.

🚨 Festivals and street events
EDC, Life is Beautiful in the Downtown Arts District, and the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix along the Strip all need distributed cold storage across a large footprint. Multiple trailers keep vendors and hospitality tents stocked.

🏭 Licensed cannabis and specialty
Temperature-controlled storage for licensed operators, healthcare cold chain support, and any specialty product that needs to hold a steady setpoint. One dial from 0 to 50 degrees covers most requirements.
What ties these together is the clock. Nobody budgets a freezer trailer into next quarter. They reach for one the hour a compressor quits, or the evening before a party when the stack of rented ice chests suddenly looks laughably undersized. Since our units sit staged around Las Vegas instead of a couple counties down the freeway, "can I get it today" is an ordinary ask here, not a stretch.

What a Cold-Storage Failure Actually Costs a Las Vegas Operation
Add it up the way a Las Vegas owner has to. One restaurant walk-in routinely sits on a small fortune in proteins, dairy, and prepped product. Scale that to a grocery rack or a warehouse freezer bay and the exposure balloons. Now knock the power or the compressor out on a triple-digit afternoon, and that whole inventory is in jeopardy inside a few hours. Then stack on the sales you lose while the line sits dark and the wages you burn paying staff to triage what can still be saved.
Hold a pre-staged trailer up against that risk and it reads like cheap insurance, a fixed, predictable expense parked in front of a loss with no ceiling. That is exactly why the businesses that got stung once tape our number by the phone. There is never a second scramble, because the next time they dial before the product has a chance to warm. Owning every trailer ourselves means we can scale the answer to fit. A single compact box suits a corner cafe. A clustered setup covers a warehouse floor. Either turns around the same day.
Why Las Vegas heat drives refrigerated trailer demand
Las Vegas summers are not mild. From June through September the valley routinely runs 105 to 115 degrees, and the pavement and back-of-house dock areas run hotter still. Refrigeration equipment that coasts along fine in spring gets pushed to its limit when the ambient temperature outside the walk-in sits above 110 for weeks at a time. Compressors work harder, condensers clog with dust, and units that were quietly failing finally quit, almost always at the worst possible moment.
The monsoon season stacks another risk on top. From July into September, afternoon thunderstorms and flash flooding roll through the valley, and the same storms that flood the washes off the foothills knock out power. NV Energy hits its summer peak load in exactly this window, and heat plus demand plus wind events near the Spring Mountains and the eastern foothills mean outages are a when, not an if.
Add in occasional hard winter cold snaps and you have a climate that punishes cold-storage equipment year-round. That's why we keep trailers staged and dispatch running 24/7. When the heat takes out your walk-in in the middle of a July afternoon, a refrigerated trailer that dials to any temperature you need and shows up same-day is the difference between a normal service and a five-figure loss.
Cold storage overflow for Strip resort and casino kitchens
A single Strip property might run a dozen restaurants, a buffet, room service, a pool club, and a 3,000-seat ballroom off one central commissary. On a fight weekend at T-Mobile Arena, a residency night, or a New Year's Eve when the whole Strip is packed shoulder to shoulder, the built-in walk-ins simply run out of room. A refrigerated trailer parked at the back-of-house dock becomes the overflow cooler that gets a banquet team through the surge.
We've backed catering and banquet operations from the Strip through Paradise and down to the convention corridor. The playbook is the same every time: hold the prepped proteins, produce, dairy, and plated courses cold and out of the way of the line cooks, so the main kitchen keeps its own coolers free for daily service. When the event ends, we pull the trailer and the property never had to build permanent cold space it only needed for one weekend.
For pool season, and in Vegas that's most of the year, the dayclubs at places like Encore Beach Club and the Strip pool decks push enormous beverage volume in 110-degree heat. A freezer trailer holding ice and frozen product, plus a refrigerated unit for cases of drinks, keeps the bars stocked without a runner sprinting to a walk-in three floors away every twenty minutes.
Everything we drop is NSF approved with a keg-duty floor and a 54-inch pallet door, so it handles the weight and the traffic of a real commercial operation, not a picnic cooler with a plug.
Emergency refrigerated trailers when a Vegas walk-in goes down
The walk-in cooler is the lifeblood of any grocery store or restaurant, it holds the proteins, produce, dairy, dressings, and prepped ingredients the whole operation runs on. When it fails, and in the Las Vegas Valley it usually fails on the hottest day of the year, the business is at a standstill and the clock on tens of thousands of dollars of product starts running. Compressors that limp along at 78 degrees give out fast when the afternoon hits 112.
That's the call we live for. A Chick-fil-A once phoned us on a Friday at 6:30 p.m., dead in the middle of dinner rush with their walk-in down and the drive-through wrapped around the block. We prepped a trailer, dispatched immediately, and had it on-site within 34 minutes of the phone call. The product was saved and the line never stopped.
Grocery is the same story at scale. When an overnight outage or a failed compressor threatens a full store's cold and frozen sets, we've rolled multiple trailers to a single location, refrigerated units for the meat and dairy cases, freezer units for the frozen aisle, so a Smith's, Vons, or Cardenas doesn't dump a truckload of inventory. The valley is dense with banners like Albertsons, WinCo, Sprouts, Sam's Club, Costco, La Bonita, and 99 Ranch, and any of them can lose a rack of refrigeration on a July afternoon.
Because our trailers switch between cooler and freezer on one dial, we can match whatever went down. NV Energy's summer peak load and heat-driven outages are a known quantity here, so we keep trailers staged and drivers on call. When your cold storage quits, you want the company that answers at 3 a.m. and is 34 minutes out, not the one that opens Monday.
Setting the Right Temperature for What You're Holding
"Cold" is not one number. Different product stays safe inside different temperature windows, which is the entire reason a precise digital set-point matters, and in the middle of a Las Vegas heat wave, a load that slips out of its window is a load you write off. Use the chart below as the reference our customers lean on when they size a rental.
| Product | Target holding band | Trailer mode |
|---|---|---|
| Ice cream and frozen desserts | -10°F to 0°F | Deep freeze |
| Frozen proteins, seafood, prepared meals | 0°F or below | Freezer |
| Fresh meat and poultry (short hold) | 28°F to 32°F | Refrigerated |
| Dairy, deli, packaged produce | 34°F to 38°F | Refrigerated |
| Beverages, florals, catering trays | 38°F to 45°F | Refrigerated |
One figure outranks everything in that chart, and it is not listed there: 40°F. Food-safety guidance treats the band between 40°F and 140°F as the zone where bacteria thrive, and the clock on perishable product starts ticking the moment it crosses 40 on the way up. Roughly four cumulative hours above that line and most refrigerated inventory is no longer safe to serve. Picture that countdown running on a 100-degree afternoon in Las Vegas with the walk-in dark, and the urgency of a quick trailer drop stops being abstract.
Tell us the single coldest item you are holding when you call, and we dial the trailer to that. One unit carries a straight freezer load with no fuss. But when your list mixes deep-freeze desserts with fresh-cold produce for the same remodel or event, we will usually point you toward a split setup or a second box so neither side of the load has to settle for the wrong temperature.
Power and Placement on a Las Vegas Site
Powering one of our trailers is refreshingly simple, and there are precisely two ways to do it. Either you have a dedicated 120-volt, 20-amp circuit reachable within roughly 100 feet of the parking spot, or we bring a generator. What the units will not accept is standard 208 to 240V building service, so a quick question about your outlet before dispatch heads off any surprise on delivery day.
- Dedicated outlet on hand? Most Las Vegas kitchens and markets already have the right one, so we plug straight in and the unit begins pulling the temperature down.
- Open lot or event field? A generator keeps the trailer running anywhere, whether that is an event lawn or a warehouse yard.
- Worried about a shutoff? A unit on a generator keeps your cold chain alive when a fire-season power shutoff takes the surrounding grid down.
On placement, all the unit really asks for is a fairly flat patch with enough room for the delivery truck to maneuver it in and set it straight, plus either a power source in reach or space for a generator. We lock down the exact drop point before dispatch, and our drivers know the Las Vegas layout cold, so the delivery is one clean trip instead of a guessing game on the property.
From the Field, Real Las Vegas-Area Saves
Strip steakhouse, walk-in down on a fight weekend
A high-volume steakhouse near the arena corridor lost its main walk-in the Thursday before a sold-out fight weekend, with a full reservation book and thousands of dollars of dry-aged product on the line. We had a refrigerated trailer at their back dock the same afternoon, dialed to 36 degrees. They moved every protein into it, made it through the weekend at full covers, and lost zero product.
Grocery store, overnight compressor failure in July
A valley grocery banner called at dawn after an overnight compressor failure knocked out the meat and dairy sets on a 108-degree day. We rolled two trailers, one refrigerated for the fresh cases and one freezer for the frozen aisle, and had them cold and loaded before the morning rush. The store transferred its inventory instead of dumping it, and stayed open.
Convention caterer, 5,000-cover overflow
A caterer plating a 5,000-guest lunch at a resort convention hall had nowhere near enough cold storage for the prep. We staged a 6x16 trailer at the loading dock the night before, they held all the proteins and plated courses at 38 overnight, and service ran on time. When the show closed, we pulled the trailer and they never had to touch the property's permanent coolers.
Renting a Freezer Trailer in Las Vegas, Step by Step
On a bad day, booking should be the part that does not add stress. Four steps, an upfront number, and a single person who owns the whole thing.
1 · Describe the load
Tell us whether it is freezer or fridge product, a ballpark volume, and your rough window. That is enough for us to call the right size.
2 · We finalize size, power & spot
We pair you with a unit, confirm whether you have a dedicated circuit or need a generator, and pin the exact drop point so the truck makes one trip.
3 · Delivery and cold-down
We arrive on your schedule, about 45 minutes for a true emergency, set the trailer, energize it, and let it drive down to your number.
4 · Run it, reach us anytime
It holds the set-point for your entire term while our line stays live the whole way through. Wrap up, and we swing back for the pickup.
Permits, power, and placement for Vegas refrigerated trailers
Powering a KryoFridge trailer in the valley is straightforward. There are exactly two options. Either we bring a generator, or you provide one dedicated 120V, 20-amp circuit within 100 feet of the trailer. That's it. We do not tap into a resort's house electrical or fight a building for a temporary high-voltage hookup, which keeps placement simple at a convention dock, a grocery lot, or a Downtown event site.
Placement on private property, a restaurant lot, a store parking area, a resort back-of-house dock, is usually the simplest path and rarely needs more than the property owner's sign-off. For events on public right-of-way, the city of Las Vegas, Clark County, or Henderson may require a special-event or temporary-use permit depending on where the footprint sits, and the Strip resorts each run their own load-in and staging rules. We've worked all of them and can tell you what your specific site needs.
Clark County health regulations treat a refrigerated trailer as commercial cold storage, so NSF-approved equipment holding a documented setpoint matters. Every KryoFridge unit is NSF approved, holds any temperature from 0 to 50 degrees on a digital thermostat, and is built with a keg-duty floor and a 54-inch pallet door for real commercial loading. Tell us the address and the job and we'll handle delivery, placement, and power.
What our trailers bring to a health-code inspection
- NSF-approved interior surfaces built for direct food contact.
- A digital controller that puts the set-point in plain view for the inspector.
- Proper drainage and a sealed, food-safe insulated box.
- Licensed and insured on every unit we put on the road.
One caveat we always state plainly: we supply the food-safe, temperature-holding hardware itself, but we are not a temperature-logging or alarm-monitoring service. If your program requires continuous written records, line that vendor up on your own.
Three Trailer Sizes, and How to Pick Yours
We stock three footprints, and together they stretch from a one-kitchen overflow all the way to distribution and disaster-scale capacity. Each one is dual-purpose by design, a single adjustable system that swings between freezer and refrigerator on a precise digital set-point, and each one lives on either a dedicated circuit or a generator.
| Trailer | Best for | Temp range |
|---|---|---|
| 6x8 | Tight lots, small kitchens, short overflow | -10°F to 50°F |
| 6x12 | Grocers, caterers, mid-size events | Deep-freeze capable |
| 6x16 | Distribution, large events, disaster | Heavy-duty reefer |
Each unit holds a precise digital set-point and runs on a dedicated 120V/20A circuit or a generator.
6x8, the compact pick for tight retail lots
Think eight or so pallet spots, and the unit to grab when square footage is the whole problem. It slips into the pinched service yards and cramped back-of-house corners that a larger box cannot even swing into. One cafe or small-market walk-in goes down, and this is almost always enough cold to cover it, plus the simplest unit to set in a small space.
6x12, the everyday pick for grocers and caterers
Call it fourteen pallet spots, deep-freeze rated, and far and away the size people ask for most. It lands right in the middle: roomy enough for a multi-day catering job or a restaurant that needs true walk-in-equivalent room while the kitchen is torn up. Roomy enough that nobody is playing Tetris with shelves, yet still small enough to set in most commercial back lots without a site survey.
6x16, the heavy hauler for distribution and disaster
Roughly twenty pallet spots paired with a heavy-duty reefer plant engineered to keep deep-freeze locked in even when the ambient air is merciless. Reach for it when a warehouse bay drops, when a large festival needs an anchor, or when a relief operation is carrying its own cold chain.
Not sure which size fits? Tell us roughly what you are storing and for how long, and we will spec it for you rather than nudging you into a bigger unit than the job calls for.
More Las Vegas Cold-Storage Rental Questions
The questions that surface once the basics are settled. Tap any topic to open it.
Freezer trailer vs. portable walk-in vs. reefer truck. Which should you rent?
The pop-up walk-in cooler. Cheap to rent and easy to set up, but it chills, it does not freeze, and it draws every watt it needs from your building while depending on a calm ambient temperature around it. The second your building loses power, your cooler loses it too.
The refrigerated box truck. Designed to haul product on the interstate, not to sit in a lot and babysit it. Parked, it idles fuel all day, broadcasts compressor noise across a storefront or an event lawn, and pins down a tractor plus a driver you probably do not need.
The freezer trailer we deliver. Built from the ground up to be dropped on a pad and to defend a temperature for as long as the job runs. It freezes deep, carries NSF approval, locks, stays quiet near guests, and lives on nothing more than one dedicated circuit or a generator.
NSF build quality and health-code compliance
Even a rented box has to satisfy the county environmental health office that licenses and inspects every food facility. Show an inspector a unit that cannot document its temperature or was not built for food contact, and they have the authority to halt service immediately.
That is a bar each of our trailers clears: NSF-approved throughout, food-safe interior surfaces, proper drainage, and a digital controller that puts the set-point in plain view. We supply the food-safe, temperature-holding hardware itself, but we are not a temperature-logging or alarm-monitoring service.
Multi-trailer setups for distribution and large operations
For a typical kitchen or market, one box does the job. Distribution floors, big fairs, and full-scale disaster response routinely need more, and because the fleet is ours, we can cluster several units and bring them online in waves as the work expands. Match the cold capacity to the operation rather than make the operation squeeze itself into one box.
Short-term emergency vs. long-term and contract storage
The clock is yours to set. Some jobs are a handful of days for an emergency or a single event. Others stretch across weeks or months for a remodel or a seasonal swell, and a few become standing contracts for businesses that want capacity parked on standby. Name your window and you will get a clean quote, no penalty for an honest "not sure yet."
Renting vs. building permanent cold storage
Building permanent cold storage is a capital project in every sense: you hire a refrigeration contractor, schedule the electrical, pull a building permit, and wait weeks before a single pallet goes inside. A rental turns that equation on its head. You bring in precisely the cold you need, for precisely the stretch you need it, and the trailer is holding temperature that same week, frequently that same day, with the commitment ending the moment your need is over.
How a trailer holds deep-freeze in triple-digit heat
Three engineered elements carry the load. Thick insulated panels and tightly gasketed doors lock the sun outside and the cold inside. A self-contained reefer condensing system specified with surplus capacity keeps stripping heat out of the box even when the air outside is brutal. And a digital thermostat locks onto your chosen number and cycles the compressor to hold the line. Run those three together and a trailer baking on open asphalt behaves like one tucked in a cool warehouse. That is also why power is the first thing we ask about: the design delivers its safety margin only on steady, uninterrupted power.
Where we deliver refrigerated trailers across the Las Vegas Valley
We deliver same-day across the entire Las Vegas Valley, from the Strip and Downtown to the far edges of Summerlin, Enterprise, and North Las Vegas. Here are the neighborhoods and communities we cover.
Neighborhoods and towns we cover include Downtown, Arts District, The Strip, Paradise, Winchester, Spring Valley, Enterprise, Summerlin, Southern Highlands, Chinatown, Henderson, Green Valley, North Las Vegas, Sunrise Manor, Whitney, Aliante, Centennial Hills, Mountain's Edge, Southwest, The Lakes, Rhodes Ranch, Nellis AFB.
The Strip and Paradise. The resort corridor from the airport up to the Convention Center is our busiest ground. Banquet overflow, pool-season beverage storage, and convention satellite kitchens all run on trailers parked at back-of-house docks along Las Vegas Boulevard.
Downtown and the Arts District. Fremont Street, the Arts District, and the Life is Beautiful festival footprint mean a steady stream of events with no permanent cold storage nearby. We drop trailers for festivals, pop-ups, and the Downtown restaurant crowd.
Chinatown and Spring Valley. The Spring Mountain Road restaurant district and the dense west-valley grocery and dining scene lean on us for emergency walk-in backup and catering overflow. When a busy kitchen loses its cooler here, minutes matter.
Summerlin and the northwest. The master-planned communities and Downtown Summerlin drive weddings, corporate events, and upscale catering. Venues without deep back-of-house cold rooms use our trailers to hold product on-site for large private events.
North Las Vegas and the industrial corridor. The distribution parks and warehouses along the I-15 and the Nellis corridor rent trailers for temporary cold storage during freezer maintenance, seasonal overstock, and new-facility build-outs before permanent refrigeration goes in.
Henderson and the Southeast valley. Green Valley, the Henderson event venues, and the Lake Las Vegas corridor round out our coverage. Grocery, catering, and corporate events here get the same same-day dispatch as the Strip, no matter which side of the valley you're on.
Planned rentals are usually scheduled same-week, and a true emergency puts a trailer on your Las Vegas lot in about 45 minutes.
What Las Vegas operators say about our refrigerated trailers
"Our walk-in failed the Thursday before a huge weekend and KryoFridge had a trailer at our dock the same day. Dialed it right in at 36, we moved everything over, and lost nothing. These are the people you want on speed dial in this town."
Marco R. · Executive chef, Strip resort"We plate thousands of covers for convention lunches and the resort coolers can't hold that kind of overflow. Their 6x16 trailer at the loading dock saved us. On time, cold, professional, and gone the minute the show wrapped."
Dana W. · Catering director, Paradise"Overnight compressor failure on a 108-degree day. I called at six in the morning and they rolled two trailers, one cooler and one freezer, before the store even opened. We didn't dump a single case. Unreal response time."
Hector L. · Store manager, Spring Valley grocery"We run outdoor events in the Arts District with zero on-site cold storage. KryoFridge drops trailers exactly where we need them and the generator option means we're not chasing building power. They know how Vegas events actually work."
Priya S. · Event producer, Downtown"We needed temporary freezer space during a maintenance shutdown at our warehouse. They had a trailer holding pallets at 10 below the next morning. Owner-operated, they picked up the phone, and the equipment is legit commercial grade."

Las Vegas Freezer & Refrigerated Trailer Rental FAQ
How fast can you deliver a refrigerated trailer in Las Vegas?
Same-day across the entire valley in most cases, and our dispatch runs 24/7. When a walk-in goes down mid-service we move immediately, we've had trailers on-site within 34 minutes of a call. Call us the moment your cooler quits rather than waiting, because the sooner we know, the sooner your product is safe.
Can one trailer work as both a cooler and a freezer?
Yes. Every KryoFridge trailer is a single dual-purpose unit that dials anywhere from 0 to 50 degrees on a digital thermostat. The same trailer holds fresh produce and dairy at 38 in the morning and switches to a hard freezer for frozen product at night. You rent one unit instead of two.
What size trailers do you offer?
We run 6x8, 6x12, and 6x16 refrigerated and freezer trailers. A 6x8 fits a small restaurant's emergency overflow, while a 6x16 handles convention-hall catering or a full grocery set. Tell us your volume and the site, and we'll recommend the right size.
How do the trailers get power?
Two ways only. We provide a generator, or you supply one dedicated 120V, 20-amp circuit within 100 feet of the trailer. That's it. We don't need 208 or 240-volt service and we don't tap a building's house electrical, which keeps placement simple at a dock, a lot, or an event site.
Do you deliver to the Las Vegas Convention Center and Strip resorts?
Constantly. We stage refrigerated and freezer trailers at the Convention Center, Caesars Forum, The Venetian Expo, Resorts World, and back-of-house docks up and down the Strip. We know the load-in windows and the resort staging rules, and our overnight delivery means you're cold and ready before doors open.
Will the trailers hold temperature in Las Vegas summer heat?
Yes. Our units are built with 4-inch insulated single-shell fiberglass and commercial refrigeration systems designed for exactly this climate. They hold a steady setpoint even when the afternoon hits 112 degrees. Heat is precisely why so many valley operators keep our number on hand.
Do you provide temperature monitoring or logging?
The unit has digital setpoint control right on the trailer so you always see and set the temperature. We do not offer a separate remote monitoring, logging, or alarm service. You control the setpoint, and the trailer holds it.
Can I rent a trailer for a convention, festival, or one-day event?
Absolutely. Short-term event rentals are a big part of what we do here, from CES and World of Concrete to Life is Beautiful, EDC, and the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. We deliver, place, and power the trailer, then pull it when your event ends. You never build permanent cold space for a one-time need.
Are your trailers NSF approved and food-safe?
Every KryoFridge trailer is NSF approved and built for real commercial food service, with a keg-duty floor and a 54-inch pallet door for forklift loading. Clark County treats a refrigerated trailer as commercial cold storage, and our equipment meets that bar.
What areas around Las Vegas do you cover?
The whole valley. Downtown, the Strip, Paradise, Spring Valley, Chinatown, Summerlin, Enterprise, Southern Highlands, Henderson, Green Valley, North Las Vegas, Sunrise Manor, and out to Centennial Hills and Aliante. We also serve the wider Nevada market, so if you're outside the metro, call and ask.
Why rent from KryoFridge instead of a broker?
We own our fleet and you deal with us directly, not a middleman who sub-rents someone else's gear and disappears when there's a problem. We're family-owned with 20-plus years in the rental business, licensed and insured, and trusted on the freezer side by brands like McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, and Dutch Bros Coffee. That's how we hold a 0 percent spoilage record.
What happens to my product during a power outage?
If NV Energy drops power during a summer peak or a monsoon storm, a KryoFridge trailer running on our generator keeps holding temperature while the grid is down. We keep trailers staged and drivers on call through outage season for exactly this reason. Call the moment you lose power and we'll get you covered.

What to do the moment your Las Vegas walk-in cooler fails
A walk-in failure in Las Vegas is different from a walk-in failure almost anywhere else, because the desert heat gives you less time. When the ambient temperature outside the box is 110 degrees, product inside a dead walk-in climbs into the danger zone fast. The first hour is the one that decides whether you save your inventory or write it off, so having a plan before it happens is worth more than any single piece of equipment.
The first move is to keep the doors closed. Every time someone opens a failed walk-in to look, warm air pours in and cold air pours out. A closed, insulated box holds temperature far longer than most people expect, so resist the urge to keep checking. Instead, put a thermometer where you can read it through the door or crack it only once to place one, and note the time the unit went down.

Cold storage for Las Vegas conventions: a planner's guide
Feeding a convention in Las Vegas is a logistics problem before it's a culinary one. The Las Vegas Convention Center, Caesars Forum, The Venetian Expo, Mandalay Bay, and Resorts World together host the largest shows on the planet, and the one-week attendance spikes they create can triple a venue's normal food volume. The permanent kitchens were never built for that peak, which is why cold storage planning belongs on your run-of-show from the start.
The first question is total cold volume across the whole event, not just peak service. A show with multiple meal functions, sponsor activations, and hospitality suites needs to hold product for days, not hours. Add up your proteins, produce, dairy, beverages, and any frozen items, then plan storage for the peak day and build in cushion. It is always cheaper to have slightly more cold space than to run out during load-in.

How desert heat and NV Energy outages threaten Vegas cold chains
The Las Vegas Valley climate is uniquely hard on refrigeration, and understanding why helps any operator plan for the failures that heat makes almost inevitable. From June through September, average daytime highs sit around 100 degrees and peak days push well past 110. Refrigeration equipment rejects heat into the surrounding air, and when that air is already 110 degrees, every compressor and condenser in the valley is working at the edge of its capacity for months at a stretch.
That sustained strain is why walk-in and reach-in failures cluster in the summer. A unit that ran fine all spring can quit in July simply because it can no longer shed heat fast enough. Dust and fine desert grit compound the problem by clogging condenser coils, which chokes off the airflow the system needs to stay cool. The result is a predictable seasonal wave of failures across restaurants, grocery stores, and event kitchens.

Refrigerated vs freezer trailers: choosing the right unit in Las Vegas
One of the first questions Vegas operators ask is whether they need a refrigerated trailer or a freezer trailer. The good news with KryoFridge is that the answer is usually the same unit, because every trailer we run is dual-purpose and dials across the full range from 0 to 50 degrees. Still, understanding how you'll use it helps you pick the right size and plan the job.
Think in terms of setpoint. Fresh product, produce, dairy, plated courses, beverages, wants the refrigerated range, roughly 34 to 41 degrees. Frozen product, ice cream, frozen proteins, packaged frozen goods, wants the freezer range at 0 degrees or below. Because a single KryoFridge unit switches between the two on a digital thermostat, you are really choosing a temperature for the job in front of you, not a different machine.
